JAV Idol Kimiko Matsuzaka was prominent during the late 1980s and early 1990s and was one the progenitors of the “big bust boom” in Japan.
Originally scheduled for only one video, Kimiko‘s talents made the video so successful that her studio, Diamond Visual, named the first day of the month “large breast day”, and released a Kimiko video on the first day of each month for nearly two years. Beyond her AV career, Kimiko became a mainstream celebrity doing voice work, photo books and weekly magazines as well as TV dramas, talk and variety shows. Kimiko made her last AV in October 1990, and retired from all public appearances in 1991. She was later reported to have taken up work as a commuting office lady.
