DJ-ing has become a legitimate career, and the DJ’s ahave become musicians in their own right. K-Sly has forged a successful career touring the world and spinning discs. I won’t insult you with my complete ignorance on the subject, but her success as a lady in a male dominated industry speaks for itself.
Her backstory is interesting: growing up the daughter of an American serviceman and Korean mother, spending time in both countries throughout her formative years and finding where she fitted in. It is a credit to K-Sly that she found what she loved in music and forged a successful career both radio an DJ-ing. And now it seems she is moving into a new phase as a new mum, and I’m sure it will be one more thing that she is fantastic at.
