Japanese actress and gravure idol Maiko Kawakami was born in Stockholm, Sweden on February 5, 1966. She started out acting in 1980 and is still active. She also released some J-Pop along the way and some nude gravure images. She may be best known as a judge on Iron Chef and for the 1989 Sesame Street TV special Big Bird in Japan.
